Ian Pratt

This is a rifle styled after some made in parts of Southwestern Virginia in the later 1700's and early 1800's, in particular guns made by the Honaker family gunsmiths. The rifle is built around a .47 caliber wrought iron barrel made by Bobby Hoyt. It is a true "iron mounted" rifle - all of the mounts, hardware, triggers etc. were forged out of various pieces of scrap wrought iron.
