Iron Mountain Southern Rifle by Jim Alford

I have just completed this rifle, it features a Rice 32 caliber 42" barrel, Chambers white lightening vent liner, Chambers late Ketland lock, Davis double set triggers on a sugar maple stock. The front sight is German silver on a copper base and the rear sight is factory made. All other mounts are hand forged of mild steel and are nicely browned. The ramrod is hand split hickory.

  1. Nicely done. I especially like the forging. A full profile shot would be nice.
